Alan Dudman is in good shape
Alan Dudman had four out of four winners last week including two lays, and he is looking lớn continue his good form with three more recommendations in League One this Saturday- According to the best free soccer prediction page!
Wanderers form strong enough lớn take on the hostsOxford United v Wycombe Wanderers
Wycombe delivered again for the column last Saturday with a home win against Burton, once again proving that they continue to be underrated be the early market makers on the Exchange. It's a similar sort of scenario for Saturday for a huge fixture at in-form Oxford - although the layers are wise lớn a potentially low-scoring game. The Under 2.5 Goals on Wednesday night was at 1.73.
I'll touch on that market shortly, but Wycombe's latest victory took their tally lớn 43 points for the season - which is their highest after 20 league games (W12 D7 L1).
With that record alone, the visitors are a half-decent price at 3.05. And as always with those sort of odds, the Draw No Bet and Double Chance always comes into play.
If Oxford hadn't played Manchester City in midweek I suspect they might have been a touch shorter, but they lost at MK Dons last Saturday and are looking lớn avoid back-to-back league losses for the first time since August. I think the City soccer vip tip has been a bit of a distraction, a good one granted for many reasons, but chasing the ball all night isn't a great prep lớn play the table toppers.
And we have no problems with tiredness for Gareth Ainsworth's men. Their recent fixture with Burton was their first since the end of November, so they will be nice and fresh. This game should also suit, as Oxford like lớn keep possession, which will play into the hands of the Chairboys who excel at soaking up pressure to hit teams on the break.
Shrewsbury frustrated Oxford recently with a 0-0, and it could be that sort of game to trade with those Correct Score trades. Wycombe have only conceded four goals in nine matches on the road and have kept six away clean sheets. That's impressive.
The Under 2.5 is a bit short, so the 1.5 should be considered. However, I think we have enough here lớn lay the hosts at a tick over even money.
Back the Millers to finally get it right at homeRotherham United v Fleetwood Town
In an ideal world for both teams, this fixture needs to be reversed. Rotherham are better on the road and Fleetwood are far superior at home. Something has lớn give I suppose.
Unless you are backing the Draw outright this weekend at 3.45.
I backed Fleetwood recently at Blackpool, but they lost 3-1. That was the snapshot of their road form, as they just cannot keep a clean sheet. They've conceded twice recently at Bolton and Coventry and even shipped in three at Southend. Sixteen in total away from Highbury is far too high for a team that has genuine playoff aspirations.
Cod Army boss Joey Barton recently said his team need to establish themselves as a promotion contender. He has no worries with the outstanding home form, though.
They've been a great side to back away from home recently, and their six wins away from the New York against the three at home shows their problems. A recent 0-1 reverse lớn Rochdale was their third loss in four games on home soil. Although two of those defeats were against Wycombe and Oxford.
The fact that Fleetwood concede gives us half a chance with Rotherham. It's a tricky game, but we'll take the 2.22 on the hosts.
Burton too short lớn back, but a good price lớn layBurton Albion v Rochdale
We continue the laying theme for Burton and Rochdale, and my immediate reaction to the hosts' price here at 1.63 is how ridiculously short they are. And that's coming from someone who has said time and time again this season that Burton are a good side.
They are now in 15th and have won just two games at the Pirelli for the campaign. The local press went as far to suggest this week that their form has "hit the wall". That form incidentally reads LLDWLDD.
Nigel Clough insists his team are progressing, but it does appear that opponents have worked out a way lớn play them. Wycombe won 0-2 and made them go long, which is
something Burton don't like lớn do.
Rochdale manager Brian Barry-Murphy has earned plaudits for the way his team play and the style he is trying lớn achieve. And they pulled off a remarkable 0-1 win at Rotherham recently with a fairly young team due lớn having plenty of players on the sidelines. They made Rotherham change their system three times in that match and frustrated them in the final third. A similar sort of set-up could be on the cards here, which is why I am tempted lớn lay the hosts. They are far too short.
I do worry if Burton find their stride and form they could hit a few, but they haven't been doing it of late and perhaps I have overrated them.
